Ownership – Trade-In My Tech LLC

The website https://tradeinmytech.com and all associated trademarks and services are owned by Trade-In My Tech LLC. Nothing on the website may be copied, republished, modified or reproduced in any way or form. If reproduction, copying or modification occurs in any unauthorized form, it may violate copyright and trademark which could result in penalty both criminal and civil. Any trademarks, logos, copyrights or other content that are not owned by Trade-In My Tech LLC, are owned by the respective companies and or owners associated.

 

Our Service Requirement

In using our services, you are required to agree to these terms and conditions outlined. In order to use out services, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; if you are under the age of eighteen (18), you are required to have a parent or guardian approve the services. We provide a free shipping label for you to use our services should you have a valid United States physical address. We do not offer our services outside of the United States. We reserve the right to reject any customer or service request should you not meet all of the requirements above.

 

Privacy Policy

Using our services requires personal information such as name, physical address and email address. While this information is not required to use the website, this information is required to create and register an account in order to use our services provided. Your provided information must be accurate and complete in order for our services to be completed. Upon registration of an account, you agree to these terms and conditions. Your information and registration is for your use only and it is not authorized to be used by another user or person. It is your responsibility to preventing unauthorized use. Upon providing your information, we allow the right to contact you with anything related to our website or services, including but not limited to emails, phone calls and text messaging. We promise to not sell or give out your information for any other reason than what is provided above.

 

Device Ownership

Upon agreeing to our services provided through our website, you agree that you are the actual legal owner of all and any items sold or attempted to be sold to Trade-In My Tech LLC. By agreeing to our services, you agree that you have full legal title to and ownership of every item that is sent by you to Trade-In My Tech LLC. Upon an item arriving to us at Trade-In My Tech LLC and agreement of sale by both you and us, you warrant the ownership transfer to Trade-In My Tech LLC. You agree to and will indemnify and hold harmless Trade-In My Tech LLC from and against any and all claims, suits, investigations, judgments, liabilities, obligations and damages relating to or arising out of the title to, ownership on any item sold or purported or arranged to be sold by you to. Trade-In My Tech LLC does NOT purchase any devices or items that have been lost, stolen or have activation locks. Should Trade-In My Tech LLC receive a lost or stolen device, Trade-In My Tech LLC will cooperate with local authorities to arrange that the device or item is returned to its rightful and legal owner.

Device Preparation

Upon sending in an item for our service, you agree to prepare the device prior to us receiving your item. You are required to disconnect your device from all services. Trade-In My Tech LLC is not responsible or liable for any and all charges that occur prior to, during or after processing of your device by us. You as the original owner must contact your service provider or carrier to remove your account and service from the device as well as pay off any outstanding bill or payment on the device. Along with the removal of your service and completion of payment or outstanding bill, you must remove any accounts or personal data. It is your, as the owner, responsibility to remove any account locks including but not limited to Apple iCloud, Google Account or Samsung Account locks. Should we receive a device that still has any or all of the following; active service, outstanding balance or your device account lock, we deem the right to modify the agreed payment amount or reject the agreed payment amount.

 

Price Quote Changes

Our device offer quotes are valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the offer acceptance date. Should we receive your device prior to this time frame, we at Trade-In My Tech LLC reserve the right to provide a new quote to account for the new current market value. While we try to outline the differences in the outlined condition categories, please be honest and accurate with your decision of which condition category your device falls into. The majority of payments will be representative of the original you receive; however, Trade-In My Tech LLC reserves the sole and final decision in the evaluation of your device should we receive your item in a condition that differs from your stated condition. If we find your device to be in a different condition than that of your original quote, we will contact you via your registered email address to inform you of the requote with reasoning. You will be given SEVEN (7) calendar days to accept or decline the new offer provided. If we do not hear from you via email, we assume you have accepted this new offer and we will proceed with the payment method you chose.

If you decline or reject the new offer requote, we will return the device to you for free. Please note that we do not provide free return shipping for items under the circumstance of the item to be significantly misrepresented, the item having a bad ESN or payment plan, the item found to be lost or stolen, or the item to activation locked.

 

Payment

After Trade-In My Tech LLC has received your item, the item will be tested for functionality and verified for condition accuracy. This process can take up to three business days to complete. After the original quote condition is verified or if necessary quote change is accepted, the payment will be processed through the chosen method. Please note if you have chosen PayPal, Trade-In My Tech LLC is not responsible for the associated fees of using PayPal’s service ($0.30+2.9% of Quote Value). Please note if you have chosen check via mail, this could take up to five (5) business days via USPS mail. If you have not received your check via USPS mail within eight (8) business days, please contact us at info@tradeinmytech.com and we will cancel the original check and issue a new check. Trade-In My Tech LLC is not responsible for any mail delays with USPS including holidays, weather conditions, or other matters affecting the USPS shipping schedules.

 

Shipping

Upon agreeing to our services and entering your accurate information, you will receive a prepaid label to ship your item(s) to us via FedEx Ground. We do not offer shipment from other carriers. We do not offer expedited shipment. Please wrap, secure and package your items with the proper protective materials to ensure your item(s) arrives in the condition you sent it to us in. We insure packages that are shipped to us, however this does not cover packages that are poorly packaged and not well protected, in which case Trade-In My Tech LLC is not responsible. If we receive a package that is damaged and not in the condition you indicated in your agreement we will return the damaged item back to you and cancel the transaction.  When shipping the package with the prepaid label, please ensure you receive a receipt and proof of shipment; Trade-In My Tech LLC is not responsible for items that do not make it to us without proof of shipment and an arrival scan from FedEx. If there are any issues with shipping, please contact FedEx or us at info@tradeinmytech.com to resolve the issue.
